Our Customer Say...
“Peter has the most amazing capacity for customer service – listened to our needs and then met them – even when we had a disaster in the building and had to have everything removed less than a week after it was installed! Highly recommend Peter and Visionext.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What is included in a typical audio visual installation?
A full AV installation starts with site assessment and design, then covers displays (TVs, projectors), audio (speakers, amps), controls (touch panels), cabling, and network integration—customised for boardrooms and meeting rooms, classrooms, or conferences in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane
- How much does audio visual installation cost?
Costs vary by room size and complexity: $5K-$15K for basic boardrooms, $20K+ for advanced hybrid setups. Get a custom quote during your free consultation—we prioritise value and compatibility.
- Can an AV system integrate with my existing devices?
Yes. Modern AV installs can be designed to work with your existing equipment. Sometimes it is uneconomical if the technology is no longer compatible with new devices. We’ll explain why and propose upgrades for seamless performance. Our team can ensure seamless integration of old and new components as we have done many times before.
- What kind of wiring and cabling is required?
Requirements depend on complexity. Our preference is to always conceal cables to keep the aesthetics clean. Basic systems use HDMI and audio cables. Advanced installs may also need network cabling and control cables. Power is very much a consideration for all the devices at their location. We can also provide Electrical work from our certified Electricians
- How long does audio visual installation take?
Installation time depends on the size and complexity of the project—small setups might be done in a few hours, large or customised jobs (with wall mounts, cable concealing, or system integration) can take multiple days.
Planning, site preparation, testing, and user training all add to the schedule
Typically we can start a project within 5-10 days depending on equipment stock and our availability of resources
- Will my installation require drilling or wall work?
If you want a clean, clutter-free look and hidden cables, some wall and/or ceiling work (drilling, mounting, cable channeling) is likely. Ask us about what options are available and what disruptions there may be. If you have work to be completed in a building that is under management it is best to check on “noisy work restrictions”. Typically any noise of drilling, such as concrete, needs to be performed outside of work hours. Our team can accomodate doing “out of hours” work to comply with your building management
- What post-installation support is available?
Our team will outline any warranties that may apply, wiring schematics, equipment documentation, copies of system and programming files and support for troubleshooting or upgrades. User training can be accommodated so you can confidently operate your system. We can also provide ongoing maintenance agreements if required
- Can you walk me through your recommended equipment, and why is it suitable for my needs?
Absolutely. Understanding why certain equipment has been recommended helps ensure we are meeting your requirements and ensures compatibility with your goals
